Day 1 – Arr. Bangkok

Welcome to Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand and a main gateway to Indochina. Meet your local guide and transfer to hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 – Bangkok (B,D)

This morning, visit the Grand Palace, which is one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court. It used to be the residence of the Kings of Thailand. Here you will see palaces which were used for different occasions: the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. This will remind you of the famous movie” The King & I”. Afternoon, enjoy free time to explore the city or visit the famous shopping mall. Evening, enjoy a dinner cruise along the Chao Phaya River to see the beautiful night lights of Bangkok.

Day 3 – Bangkok (B,L)

Morning, explore the colorful Damnoen Saduak Floating Market to see the old style and traditional way of selling and buying fruits, and vegetables from small boats. You will also see traditional Thai houses and the way they live and travel by boats. Today is an excellent way to get an insight into the locals life and see the fresh exotic fruit and sample local delicacies.

Day 4 – Bangkok (B)

Free for you to do shopping. Thailand is one of the best shopping cities in Asia. Many Asian especially, the youth all travel to Bangkok to shop in the wholesales mall or famous shopping area.

Day 5 – Bangkok to Siem Reap (B)

Fly to Siem Reap, Cambodia, home to one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, which literally means the “Defeat of Siam”, is the most prosperous region of contemporary Cambodia. Begin exploring the Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer Kingdom, with a visit to the famous Bayon Temple with its large-scale faces bearing beguiling smiles. Continue to the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. You may see the sunset at the South Gate before checking in hotel. Tonight, leisure time to explore the famous Night market where you will find many restaurants, stores of local handicrafts.

Day 6 – Siem Reap (B,L)

Begin your journey visiting Banteay Kdei Temple, a massive Buddhist temple of the second half of the 12th century, is surrounded by four concentric walls. In the afternoon, visit the Theam’s House where you can see the creative work of an artistic director, Theam.
Get your camera ready for the Angkor Wat Temple, this Cambodia’s ancient temple city is a masterpiece of decorative details as well as of architectural style. The art is amazing and until now, no one knows the secret of crafting this magnificent temple.

Day 7 – Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh City (B,L)

Fly to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon; it is the most vibrant city of Vietnam and is the nation’s window to the world. Buzzing with frenetic activity, cosmopolitan Ho Chi Minh City looks outward, listens to pop music and drinks French wine. In the 19th century, the city was under French control. That was the period of many infrastructural and architectural developments.
Tour the city by visiting the General Post Office, one of the most handsome French colonial buildings in the city, Notre Dame Cathedral built in 1880. It used to be the tallest building in the city. Then follow to the Reunification Hall; a site of the former French Governor General where the former president Van Thieu boarded a chopped from the roottop and fled before North Vietnamese troops took over Saigon. This evening, see a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. The Water Puppetry is one of the most authentic expressions of Vietnam culture. The puppeteers stand waist deep in the water and maneuver their wooden charges to the music of a traditional orchestra.

Day 8 – Ho Chi Minh City (B,L)

Discover Mekong Delta by riding on a boat trip on the heart of Indochina, Mekong River, this mighty river menders for 2,800 miles from China all the way to Vietnam and it is bestow Vietnam’s southern plain with rich alluvial soil that has made it a “rice basket” as well as “fruit basket”. Visit fruit garden, snake farm, coco candy manufacturer. This is the highlight to see the life of many local people.

Day 9 – Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi (B)

Fly to the capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi; Hanoi means” the City within the River’s Bend” which has over 1000 years of history. Here, you will see over 600 years old quarters blend with the colonial buildings in the city. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s house, which served as home to the revolutionary guerrilla leader who pursued independence for Vietnam. Continue to the lotus-shaped One Pillar Pagoda. Ride a cyclo through the Old Quarter.

Day 10 – Hanoi to Halong Bay (B,L,D)

Proceed to Halong Bay, a designated UNESCO World Heritage site, the magnificent
Halong Bay is spread across 580 sq miles with more than 2000 pinnacle shaped limestone and dolomite scattered across it. You will overnight at Halong Bay before we board the junk to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of Halong Bay. Board a traditional Junk where you will stay for one night. Enjoy a delicious buffet on board with briefing from the cruise manager. Row a boat to visit the fishing villages. Here you will see many families live on board of boats. Life is simple but relaxing and happy. Enjoy your free time for you to swim or kayaking before joining the happy hour on board. Tonight enjoy a nice dinner under the beautiful moonlight. Overnight at the junk.

Day 11 – Halong Bay to Hanoi (B,L)

Nothing is better than begin your day with a Tai Chi lesson on board of the cruise. Then visit one of the famous caves where you will see many interesting rock formation. Board the cruise for a brunch before disembark. You will bring home a life time memory on this beautiful Halong Bay. Return to Hanoi. Tonight you are free to enjoy the city.
