  • ITINERARY

    Day 1 – Fly to Tokyo

    Check-in at airport. Depart from your gateway to Japan. Enjoy the inflight service on board of a jumbo jet.

    Day 2 – Arr. Tokyo

    Arrive at New Tokyo Int’l Airport (NRT) by your flight. Welcome to Tokyo, the capital of Japan. Meet your local tour manager and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

    Day 3 – Tokyo

    Tokyo (B,D). Morning, begin exploring the unique Japanese culture and history by passing by the Imperial Palace Plaza, the main residence of the Emperor of Japan. Continue to explore the Tokyo oldest temple – Asakusa Kannon Temple with the famous “Nakamise” shopping arcade. Here is an ideal place for lunch. Tonight, welcome dinner to taste the special Japanese cuisine.

    Day 4 – Tokyo

    Tokyo (B).Enjoy a half day tour visiting the world’s largest fish market, Tsukiji Fish Market using the well-planned public transportation. At the fish market, you will see many unique seafood products and the freshest sushi! Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. There are many different museums and places for exploration based on your own interests. Your local guide will assist you how to explore Tokyo with your day-pass.

    Day 5 – To Mt. Fuji & Hakone

    Mt. Fuji & Hakone (B,D). (Your luggage will be transferred to your hotel in Kyoto by truck separately. So, an overnight bag is recommendable for 1 night in Hakone.)
    Depart Tokyo for Hakone National Park by chartered coach, en route driving halfway up to the 5th Station of Mt Fuji, the icon of Japan. In the afternoon, arrive in Hakone and start a sightseeing tour to visit Lake Ashi with mini-cruise, and Owakudani Valley where you will observe volcanic activities. Unwind yourself at the onsen (hot spring spa). Immerse yourself in the views, the pure waters, and the fresh mountain air. Tonight’s highlight is a taste of the traditional Japanese dinner (Kaiseki).

    Day 6 – Bullet train to Kyoto

    Kyoto (B). Experience the world’s first bullet train from Hakone to Kyoto. Kyoto is an ancient capital of Japan for more than one thousand years. Kyoto is the best way to discover the “real Japan” and truly learn about it culture.

    Day 7 – Kyoto

    Kyoto (B,D).Enjoy a full day cultural experience tour of Kyoto. Morning, visit one of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto UNESCO World Heritage site, Kiyomizu Temple. Learn how to make sake (the national beverage) and enjoy a tasting at a Sake Factory. Continue to Nijo Castle, the Kyoto residence of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo Period (1603-1867). This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at Gion area, Kyoto’s most famous geisha district. You will find the old street and now turn in to the major shopping area in Kyoto.

    Day 8 – Kyoto

    Kyoto (B). Today is free day for you to explore Kyoto on your own. You can join the Sushi making class or enjoy half day Arashiyama to see the beautiful Bamboo Grove and natural scenery of Kyoto.

    Day 9 – Fly to home

    Fly to home (B). Transfer to the second largest city in Japan, Osaka; also known as the Food Capital of Japan. Fly to home from Kansai Int’l Airport (KIX).
