Arr. Bangkok. This evening, arrive in Bangkok, capital city of Thailand. Bangkok is the gateway to Indochina. Meet your local guide and transfer to Ramada Riverside Hotel or similar.
Bangkok (B,D). In the morning, visit the Grand Palace, one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court. Here you will see palaces which were used for different occasions: the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. Afternoon, enjoy your leisure time to explore the city or escape from the city to pamper yourself at one of the spas. Evening, enjoy a welcome dinner.
Bangkok (B). Explore the colorful Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where you will see the boats piled high with tropical fruit and vegetables, and local food cooked from floating kitchens. Afternoon relax at your leisure. Thailand is one of the best shopping cities in Asia. Bangkok is also known as a “shopaholic’s paradise”; you will find a variety of malls, and markets for bargains, luxury goods, high-end fashion.
Fly to Siem Reap (B,D). Take a short flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia, home to one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, which literally means the “Defeat of Siam”, is the most prosperous region of contemporary Cambodia. Arrive in Siem Reap, transfer to hotel. Tonight, enjoy dinner with Apsara traditional dance performance.
Siem Reap (B). After breakfast, get ready for temple exploring by visiting the South gate of Ankor Thom, the famous Bayon Temple, Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Why not take an optional elephant ride around the temple grounds?! Return to hotel for a rest. In the afternoon , explore Angkor Wat Temple, Cambodia’s ancient temple city. The art masterpieces are amazing and to this day, no one knows the secret of crafting this magnificent temple. Enjoy the beautiful sunset at the temple. Tonight, explore the famous night market at leisure where you will find many restaurants, stores, and local handicrafts.
Siem Reap (B,D). In the morning visit artisans Angkor known as the carving school and silk farm. Here you will discover the detailed craftsmanship of the local handicrafts. There will be a special visit to a non-profit organization which supports children and women. Lunch is at your own leisure at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Kompong Pluk Floating Village. Here you will see the entire community living on water. Our visit includes both a floating forest and school. After the tour, enjoy a group dinner before returning to the hotel.
Fly to Ho Chi Minh City (B,D). Fly to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon; it is the most vibrant city in Vietnam,and has retained its French colonial influences. In the afternoon, tour the General Post Office, one of the most stunning French colonial buildings in the city, followed by a visit to Notre Dame Cathedral built in 1880. It used to be the tallest building in the city. Continue to the Reunification Hall. Tonight enjoy a Vietnamese dinner and the must-see water-puppet show.
Ho Chi Minh City (B,D). Free day for exploring the city or join the optional My Tho tour to experience the life of the people along the Mekong Delta. The tour includes a boat trip along the Mekong River, the heart of Indochina. Here we will visit a fruit garden, snake farm, and coco candy manufacturer. This highlight give you a glimpse into the daily lives of many local people. Lunch is included. Tonight enjoy a farewell dinner with a cooking demonstration and say goodbye to your fellow members.
Fly to Los Angeles (B). Full day free at leisure. In the late evening, transfer to the airport for your flight home, or you can take an extension to Luang Prabang or Hong Kong.
